Sprinkler & Hose Reel Network

Turnkey design, installation and maintenance of sprinkler and hose-reel networks. APSAD R5, EN 12845, EN 671-1 and NF S62-201 compliant.

Fire hose reels are first-response devices mandatory in public-access buildings and industrial sites under the French Order of 18 October 1977 and section MS 15 of the safety regulations. They allow trained staff to attack a fire start before emergency services arrive.

Hose reel types

Three standard calibres selected by risk and required reach.

DN 25 hose reel — spray jet

Flow ~ 35 l/min, reach up to 8 m. Semi-rigid Ø 25 mm hose. Offices, standard public buildings, small workshops.

DN 33 / 45 hose reel — straight / spray

Flow ~ 60-100 l/min, reach 10 to 15 m. Ø 33 or 45 mm hose. Warehouses, car parks, industrial sites.

DN 70 hose reel — full / spray

Flow > 250 l/min. Ø 70 mm hose for high-risk sites: Oil & Gas, refineries, mining, large storage.

Fire networks — FAQ

Your question isn't in this list?

Put it to one of our experts.
What is a fire hose reel (RIA)?

The RIA is a first-response device allowing occupants to fight a fire start before emergency services arrive. A2S Fire handles the design, installation, testing and maintenance of hose-reel networks and fire hydraulic installations.

When is a hose reel mandatory?

The obligation depends on the applicable regulations, the type of activity, the building area and the risk analysis carried out for the site.
